Acting on behalf of the federal government, the LLRWMO (an office of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited) is responsible for the safe management of historic low-level radioactive waste. Projects are located across Canada. Current opportunities are based at both our national office in Ottawa and our Port Hope office.
Under the direction of Natural Resources Canada, the LLRWMO is preparing to manage the largest historic radioactive waste clean-up project to-date in Canada. This environmental remediation project in the vicinity of Port Hope, Ontario will require knowledgeable, dedicated staff and consultants in a wide variety of skill areas.
The LLRWMO offers career opportunities for scientific, technical, environmental, engineering and business specialists. There are also consulting opportunities in a variety of specific areas.
