Port Hope Area Initiative

Answer #13

Are you involving First Nation people in your activities?

Yes. Under the coordination of an aboriginal communications consultant, the LLRWMO has invited First Nation communities and Métis organizations to participate in the Initiative. As part of the program to communicate with and involve aboriginal communities, the consultant and LLRWMO community relations staff meet with interested First Nation Chiefs and Councils to explain the projects and determine how First Nation peoples may be affected by the Projects.
